Following surgery to treat an enlarged prostate, King Charles III was released from the hospital and is recuperating at home.

The Monarch is back at home following a standard operation for an enlarged prostate performed over the weekend at The London Clinic, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.
"His Majesty would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit," the Palace stated in a statement on January 29, "and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days."
The 75-year-old will not be attending to royal engagements despite returning home, as the Palace stated that Charles "has rescheduled forthcoming public engagements to allow for a period of private recuperation." While he continues to recover.
On January 17, the Palace made the initial announcement about the Monarch's surgery, saying, "His Majesty's condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure."
After undergoing stomach surgery, Kate Middleton was also released from the same hospital, proving that the King is not the only royal recovering from a recent procedure.
In a statement released on January 29, Kensington Palace stated, "She is making good progress."
"The entire team at The London Clinic, notably the committed nursing staff, has our sincere gratitude for the care that they have given, the Prince and Princess add.
The Wales family is still appreciative of all the kind vibes they have been showered with worldwide."
In fact, Charles made care to visit his daughter-in-law during their separate hospital stints.

Prince William, the 42-year-old's spouse, was also pictured following a visit of his own.
Even though Kate, who is the Prince of Wales's twin with Prince George, age 10, Princess Charlotte, age 8, and Prince Louis, age 5, is recovering nicely from her hospital stay, it may be some time before her admirers catch her in public.
It is, after all, as Kensington Palace has stated, "based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter."
But Kate will resume her royal duties as soon as she is able to.
"The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements," the palace stated.
"She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible."
